Woman gives birth to healthy triplets in North Kashmir

Baramulla, Aug 8, KNT: A woman gave birth to a triplet at Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg – falling under the jurisdiction of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. All the babies as per hospital sources are healthy.

“This exceptional case is particularly noteworthy as all three babies were delivered naturally, without the need for a cesarean section, which is a rarity in such cases,” a doctor told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.

The first baby was delivered at home. Following this, the mother arrived at SDH Tangmarg with the retained twins. The remaining two babies were safely delivered by the attending team led by the senior consultant gynecologist, Dr. Zainab Drabo. The supporting team included Dr. Nisar, Dr. Shafaq, Dr. Rafeeqa, Staff Sister Haleema Ji, and Ruksana.

BMO Dr. Zahoor Ahmad said that all the facilities and resources were available in the hospital. [KNT]
