3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Ladakh

Ladakh, Nov 4, KNT: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Ladakh region today.

The tremor’s epicenter was located at 34.51 N latitude and 78.52 E longitude, with a depth of 10 km in the Leh area.

Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that no loss of life or property has been reported anywhere.

Two weeks back, the region had witnessed an earthquake of the same 3.7 magnitude approximately 200 km southwest of Leh. [KNT]
