Rescue teams race against time in Rajgarh
Ramban, Aug 30: A sudden cloudburst wreaked havoc in Rajgarh tehsil of Ramban district, leaving three people dead and five others missing, officials confirmed.
Rescue teams were swiftly deployed to the affected region and are working round-the-clock to trace those unaccounted for.
“Three bodies have been recovered so far, while five persons are still missing. The cloudburst triggered flash floods that damaged property and threw normal life out of gear,” an official told the news agency.
Authorities said relief measures are being extended to the victim families even as the search and rescue operation continues in the disaster-hit area.
