LG Manoj Sinha Reviews Amarnath Yatra Preparations at Baltal Base Camp


Srinagar, June 26: In preparation for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2024, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Baltal Base camp in Ganderbal district to assess the security arrangements and facilities for pilgrims. Scheduled to commence on June 29, 2024, and conclude on August 19, 2024, this annual pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave is a significant event for devotees.

During his visit, Sinha inspected various essential amenities such as medicines, oxygen supply, water facilities, food provisions, sanitation measures, and telecom connectivity along the pilgrimage route and at the pilgrim camp. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place to facilitate a safe and comfortable journey for pilgrims undertaking this sacred pilgrimage.

The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and secure Amarnath Yatra experience, highlighting the coordinated efforts between security personnel, local authorities, and support services to manage the pilgrimage effectively.
