Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Meets with Trade Union Leaders to Address Employee Concerns in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, October 26 – Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, on today called a meeting with Jagmeet Kour Bali, Chairperson of ASMEA/AEJAK, and Abida War, Chairperson of JKSEWWA and President of JKICDSSU, to discuss pressing issues impacting various employee groups across the valley. The meeting highlighted the administration’s commitment to addressing the grievances of minority employees, ICDS Supervisors, and Anganwadi Workers and Helpers (AWWs/AWHs), aiming to improve their welfare and working conditions.

During the discussions, the trade union leaders emphasized the challenges faced by these groups, urging Sinha’s intervention in resolving critical issues. The dialogue centered on developing strategies to enhance working environments and ensure the safety and welfare of employees. Recognized for his proactive approach to public engagement, Sinha assured that his administration would carefully assess the matters raised and work towards implementing effective solutions.
