Govt Appoints Inquiry Officer to Probe Unauthorised Absence of Accounts Assistant in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 16 (JKNS): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a formal inquiry into the case of unauthorized absence of then Accounts Assistant posted in the Office of Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar.

According to an official order, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed Pandith, Joint Director, J&K Funds Organization, as Inquiry Officer to inquire into the matter of un-authorized absence of Mr. Raja Tahir Hussain, the then Accounts Assistant, Deputy Director Prosecution, Srinagar.

Mr. Abdul Bari Deva, Accounts Officer, Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Kashmir will be the Presenting Officer in the case. The Inquiry Officer shall complete the inquiry and submit a report within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this order, reads the order. (JKNS)
