BIG GLOBAL HONOUR FOR YUVA: Chinar Yuva Centre Shines on International Sustainability Platform

In a remarkable recognition of grassroots efforts towards sustainable development, the Chinar Yuva Centre in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, has earned global acclaim under the prestigious Climate Action and Sustainability Champions Awards (CASCA) platform.

CASCA is a renowned international forum that acknowledges excellence in climate action, sustainability, and innovative solutions for a resilient future. Chinar Yuva Centre, supported by ONGC and the Dagger Artillery Brigade of the Indian Army, empowers local youth by providing skill development in technical trades, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship.

The centre had recently bagged the “Best CSR Award for Skill Development” at the ASM CSR Summit on a national level. Now, its growing alignment with CASCA’s mission highlights its significant role in promoting sustainable livelihoods, youth empowerment, and community resilience in the region.

Although specific details regarding the CASCA award are yet to be confirmed, the Chinar Yuva Centre’s transformative programs perfectly mirror the sustainability goals championed by CASCA, marking a proud moment for Kashmir and India on the global stage.
