Poonch, Sep 24: Five Army personnel sustained injuries after the Taverra vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in the Ghani area of Sector Mankote, Poonch district, on Wednesday morning.
According to official sources, the vehicle, bearing registration number JK02 AW 1387, was on its way from Dhara Dullian to Jammu when it skidded off the road at around 7:15 am.The injured soldiers, who were posted at Balnoi Nangi Takeri, were proceeding on leave at the time of the mishap. A replacement vehicle was later arranged to ensure their onward journey.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
