Mystery Shrouds Death of 2-Year-Old in Budgam, Family Alleges Foul Play

Srinagar: The body of a 2-year-old boy was found under mysterious circumstances in the Kechwari area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, with the family alleging that the infant was brutally murdered.According to reports from the news agency KNO, the child, identified as Zeeshan Ahmad Kalas, son of Bilal Ahmad Kalas, was discovered dead during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. The authorities noted that the boy had suspicious marks on his neck.The grieving family claims that unknown individuals forcefully entered their home during the night, attacked their son with a knife, and slit his throat.An official source stated that the child’s body will be returned to the family following the completion of medico-legal formalities, and that an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
