PM Modi Announces Resumption of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio Broadcast Starting June 30

Srinagar, June 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed the return of his popular ‘Mann Ki Baat’ monthly radio program, following a hiatus due to the recent Lok Sabha elections. Scheduled to recommence on Sunday, June 30, the announcement was made by the Prime Minister himself, who encouraged citizens to contribute their ideas and suggestions for the upcoming broadcast.

In a statement, PM Modi expressed his enthusiasm about the program’s return after several months, emphasizing its significance in fostering public engagement and sharing of diverse viewpoints. The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ initiative, known for its interactive format, allows citizens to participate by submitting their suggestions through various platforms including the MyGov Open Forum, NaMo App, or by recording messages via a dedicated hotline.

“Delighted to share that after a gap of some months due to the elections, #MannKiBaat is back! This month’s programme will take place on Sunday, 30th June,” he said in a post on X.

“I call upon all of you to share your ideas and inputs for the same. Write on the MyGov Open Forum, NaMo App or record your message on 1800 11 7800,” Mr. Modi said.

The last episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired on February 25 before it paused in compliance with the Model Code of Conduct guidelines during the election period. In its previous installment, PM Modi had urged first-time voters to actively participate in the electoral process, stressing the importance of voting for the nation’s progress.
