Tragic Accident Claims Eight Lives in South Kashmir’s Kokernag

Anantnag: In a heart-wrenching incident, eight people, including two minors, lost their lives when a vehicle rolled down near the Daksum area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

According to officials quoted by news agency GNS, the tragedy occurred when a Sumo bearing registration number JK03H9017 lost control and rolled down the road near Daksum.

The ill-fated vehicle was carrying a family of eight, comprising five children, two women, and one man, who were traveling from Kishtwar.

Authorities have registered a case regarding the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
