Body of 16-Year-Old Student Recovered After Three Days from River Jhelum in Sopore

Sopore, June 28 : The body of a 16-year-old boy, who drowned three ldays ago in River Jhelum, was recovered on Saturday in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told news agency that the deceased has been identified as Bilal Ahmad Parray, son of Abdul Jabbar Parray, a resident of Kitardaji Rafiabad.

He was a student by profession and had gone missing after slipping into the river on Thursday.

After a continuous search operation by SDRF, police, and local volunteers, the body was finally traced and retrieved this morning.
