4th Posh Valley Football Tournament Kicks Off in Hajin

Hajin: The much-awaited 4th Posh Valley Football Tournament commenced with great enthusiasm on Friday at the Sports Ground in Hajin Sonawari area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The inaugural match witnessed a thrilling encounter between Hashmi FC Bandipora and Al Sahir FC Budgam, setting the tone for an exciting tournament.

The tournament was organized by Chinar Sports Hajin under the aegis of DFA Zone Sonawari, the tournament aims to provide a platform for the talented youth of Jammu and Kashmir to showcase their footballing prowess.

Speaking to the media, the tournament manager expressed the commitment to nurturing young talent and creating opportunities for them to compete at the highest level.

The manager further emphasized the importance of sports in keeping the youth away from negative influences and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The match was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including SDPO Hajin, SHO Hajin, OC Hajin, Mir Bashir Ahmad, DFA President Asim Aijaz, Altaf Ahmad, Ishfaq Ahmad, Amin Hajini, Wajahat Basu, and Shahid Muntazir. Their presence added to the overall fervor and excitement of the opening match.
As the tournament progresses, it is expected to generate immense interest and participation among football enthusiasts in the area.
