35 lakh cash seized from car in Kathua; minor held, one absconds

Jammu, Feb 24 (JKNS):- Police on Monday seized a cash of Rs 35 lakh from a car in Kathua during which one minor was held.

Officials told news agency JKNS that Police recovered approximately 35 lakh in cash from a vehicle i20 car during a routine check in Kathua district.

They said that a minor was detained, while another suspect managed to flee.

Authorities are verifying the source of the cash and further investigations are underway, they said.—(JKNS)
