For twelve years, the Govt. Primary School at Mohra in Takia Panchayat has been dilapidated, limited only to the roof. It is a sign of the coldness of the concerned authorities that twelve years have passed since the construction of this school, but the walls are still waiting for plaster. During the rainy season, teachers have to give paid leave to young children studying in school. According to the school children and teachers, during the rainy season, water enters the school completely, which causes the teachers and children to face many difficulties in teaching and learning. According to the parents of the children studying in the said school, their children’s education is being adversely affected due to the poor condition of the school. They have already been appealed to the responsible administration of the school to pay attention for plastering and other complete construction of this school. They have also been requested SDM Mendhar and DC Poonch Yasin M Chowdhury (IAS) to look into this matter.
