Today the kids born want to study be competitive, want to live a healthy and prosperous life as the future unfolds itself and rust us that it was the Indian Army that made it possible!
–Our care of the child should be governed, not by the desire to make
him learn things, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within
him that light which is called intelligence.’….. This one was by of
the great edu educationist Maria….The surname is left to the readers
to find! Just a little jiggle and dribble by the authors!
- The picture is with story and what I could make out was that giant
sized man had the little Thumbnail in his arms and was tring to teach
the kid the lessons and making her write notes! - This was nothing but sheer brilliance as as Indian Army officers and
the soldiers go!
-In actuality my experience says that in insurgency hit areas such as
Jammu and Kashmir the people were not as to what was heading towards
them!
-The children of nineties (last century) would not have worked out as
to what their future was!
-Those times were of rings of fury as the educational system had been
absolutely devastated! The teachers were scared to go to the schools
and thus the schools gave a deserted and abandoned look!
-It was a typhoon unleashed by the neighbouring country across the
LOC. Needless to mention Pakistan had played a lethal game of sorts!
-The future had to be saved and the Indian Army got it a fast action
mode! The top strategic experts of the Army knew that three things
were the worrying factors, The first was the condition of the women
(because women are first victims of any insurgency, The second was the
future os upcoming children (the reason was that educational
infrastructure had been devastated and the third was to give the
power of earning!
-It started at a small scale and then bloomed into a full fledged
Operation Sadbhavana
-The future of the children had to be saved or those who would arrive
sooner or later! Indian Army had to fight the war against terrorism on
two fronts!
-The first was to annihilate terror and extremism and the second was
to take the people into their fold! They succeeded on both the fronts!
-Today the people are with the Indian Army as the vicious
environment of the terrorists has been demolished. A few do remain and
trust me that they are on a road to nowhere!
-Today the kids born want to study be competitive, want to live a
healthy and prosperous life as the future unfolds itself and rust us
that it was the Indian Army that made it possible!
-The army knew that they had to start from a scratch and they did and
have now created a monumental infrastructure!
-I thought this picture is very suggestive of that!
-Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the
courage and the strength, use it to create something out of the world
and that is exactly what the soldiers sre trying to tell the children
in the deep hinterland where terror held all the stakes!
Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed. Just
do it yourself because if you give the tips he/she will always take
the line of least resistance! I think that was what the soldier is
trying to tell in the picture!
-The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, ‘The
children are now working as if I did not exist.’ This perhaps was also
in the mind of the soldier with a girl child in her lap!
Establishing lasting peace is the work of education; all politics can
do is keep us out of war. This thing has got into the minds of the
children in the interiors! The Army has remained far away from
politics but one hing is sure that they have developed the children
via the mode of education!
It was not an eas task but was made possible by the Indian Army and
the picture with the story proves that exactly!
Finally I will end up with a couple of lines, the first, within the
child lies the fate of the future. And the second, of all things love
is the most potent. It indeed is!
