Krishna Ghati Premier League 2024-25: Day 5 Highlights

In an action-packed day 5 of the Krishna Ghati Premier League (KGPL) 2024-25, two exhilarating matches showcased the fierce spirit of competition on Day 5 at Sports Ground Jhullas.

Glamorous Club and Rufiyaan Club Secure Victories

Match No. 8: Glamorous Club vs Khalsa Club
Opting to bat first Glamorous Club set the highest total of the tournament scoring 194/5. A.G. played a stellar innings scoring 67 off 31 deliveries while Mayur contributed 29 off 11 balls. Dr. Gagan and Chanan Singh picked up 2 wickets each for Khalsa Club.
In reply Khalsa Club were bowled out for 78 with Amandeep scoring 22 runs. Avinash Kumar was exceptional with the ball taking 4 wickets for just 10 runs. Glamorous Club secured a commanding victory by 116 runs. Avinash Kumar was declared Player of the Match.

Match No. 9: Rufiyaan Club vs Kanuyian Rangers
Batting first Rufiyaan Club posted a total of 155/8. Ifraz led the scoring with 52 runs while Shaikh Ajaz added a valuable 35. Nawaz Rizvi impressed with the ball, taking 3 wickets.
In response Kanuyian Rangers managed only 106/6 with Mukhtar Mukhi top-scoring with 38 runs. Ifraz and Riswan Ghani each took 3 wickets, showcasing their all-round performances. For his outstanding contribution Ifraz was named Player of the Match.

The Chief Guest for the first match was Ghazal Khan CEO of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India while for the second match it was Retired Capt. Talib Hussain (Sena Medal)

This tournament is organized by the Krishna Ghati Brigade and supervised by Nangi Tekri Batallion. The overall technical supervisor is Pervaiz Malik Afridi.
