Budha Amarnath Yatra 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from 28th July to 09 Aug 25. The yearly Yatra conducted in the town of Mandi assumes great importance & spirits as compared to the Shri AmarnathJi Yatra (SANJY).

The Security cover for this Yatra which commences from Jammu to Mandi assumes critical coordination & deliberation. To enable the same, a Joint Security Conference was conducted today by Indian Army’s Superb Six Sector part of Romeo Force. Civil and military representatives of nearly 14 different agencies attended the same & discussed the prophylactic Security cover being planned in the upcoming days.

The Conference was chaired by Commander of Superb Six Sector & was also attended by SSP Poonch, representatives of Intelligence & Other Important Agencies. All matters of area Domination by physical & electronic means were discussed in detail. Key aspects pertaining coordination of JKP & Indian Army were focused & fruitful good practices were shared for better synergy.

Today, as Lt Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first Yatris from Jammu, the Amarnath Yatra has officially commenced. The J & K Government along with Indian Army & all Associated Stake Holders are steadfast to ensure the success of SANJY including BAY in this season of 2025.
