The electrifying atmosphere, with roaring fans and intense cricketing action, made it a day to remember.Match Summary – Cousin Cricket Club vs. Nawab Cricket ClubIn a thrilling encounter, Nawab Cricket Club posted a challenging total of 154/7 in their 20 overs. Cousin Cricket Club rose to the occasion and chased down the target in 19.2 overs, scoring 155/7 to secure victory by three wickets and claim the championship.Player of the Match: Fazan Majeed (Cousin Cricket Club)Fazan Majeed delivered a match-winning performance, scoring an unbeaten 66 runs off 44 balls, including 4 fours and 8 sixes. With the ball, his impressive figures of 4.0-0-26-1 further cemented his status as the game’s standout performer.MVP of the Match: Fazan Majeed (8.98 MVP Rating)AcknowledgmentsThe grand finale was graced by respected dignitaries including local panchs and sarpanchs, alongside the Gambhir Mughlan Panchayat leadership. The audience was entertained by singer javed rahi from gadhang muhalla and commentary done by Mr Nadeem kanzal . Tournament LegacyOrganized by the Galuthi Battalion under the aegis of the Romeo Force as part of Operation Sadbhavna, the MCL 2024-25 fostered community harmony and inspired youth through sports. The Peda Gali Company commander praised the players’ exemplary sportsmanship and handed over the awards.Audience EngagementThe finale saw an overwhelming response, with 703 live spectators and thousands more following the action online.
