SSP GANBERBAL CHAIRS CRIME & SECURITY REVIEW MEETING AT DPO GANDERBAL.

Srinagar  : SSP Ganderbal Shri Ragav S, IPS chaired a Crime & Security review meeting at Conference Hall DPO Ganderbal., yesterday. The meeting was attended by Addl.SP Ganderbal Shri Parvaiz Ahmad all senior Officers including SHOs and I/C PPs of the District.

During the meeting, SSP Ganderbal laid down special emphasis on the implementation of New Criminal Laws and provided a roadmap to increase the awareness about the benefits of the ‘New Criminal Laws(NCL)’ among the common masses. He directed all the officers to ensure the provisions of the new laws are used to meet the ends of justice. He guided the officers regarding the victim centric approach that the new laws entail thereby ensuring every individual is benefitted. 

SSP Ganderbal also urged the officers to make all possible efforts in fighting against menace of drugs and work dedicatedly to act against cybercrimes. Moreover, directions were passed for the speedy and timely disposal of the pending UAPA Cases/NDPS cases.

Further, participating officers briefed SSP Ganderbal about the security scenario in their respective areas. SSP Ganderbal discussed in length regarding the measures that are to be adopted for countering the challenges posed by adversaries. Further, SSP Ganderbal also emphasized upon the officers to maintain close synergy and coordination with other security forces working on the ground. 

The meeting concluded with appreciation by the chair to the officers for their good work.
