LG Manoj Sinha Commands High-Level Meeting: Prioritizes Security, Development, and Road Safety in Jammu

JAMMU, JUNE 22: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha led a crucial high-level security and district development review meeting with key officials, including DCs and SSPs from 10 districts of Jammu, along with senior Civil and Police Administration personnel.

In attendance were Chief Secretary Sh Atal Dulloo, DGP Sh RR Swain, Principal Secretary Home Department Sh Chandraker Bharti, ADGP Law & Order Sh Vijay Kumar, ADGP CID Sh Nitish Kumar, ADGP Jammu Sh Anand Jain, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor Dr Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sh Ramesh Kumar, and other senior officials.

Lt Governor Sinha emphasized the need for a unified approach among Security forces and Civil and Police administration to dismantle terrorist networks. He stressed the urgency of neutralizing terrorists and their supporters.

The meeting also reviewed development projects, social welfare schemes, and preparations for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, focusing on security, traffic management, and essential facilities for pilgrims.

Addressing public concerns, the Lt Governor instructed officials to adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards traffic violations, highlighting the need to curb road accidents and impound unfit vehicles. Measures to combat illegal mining and the drug menace were also discussed, with a call for strict enforcement.
