Baramulla Police Organizes Drug De-Addiction Awareness Drive at Govt Degree College Pattan

Baramulla, Feb 25(TKD): In a determined effort to combat the growing menace of drug abuse, the Baramulla Police conducted a Drug De-Addiction Awareness Programme at Government Degree College Pattan.

The event aimed to educate students and faculty about the devastating impact of drug addiction and the need for preventive measures. Speakers emphasized the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse while advocating for a drug-free society.

Prominent speakers, including SDPO Pattan DySP Shahjahan Choudhary-JKPS, SHO PS Pattan Insp Mohd Saleem, Mr. Mohd Ashraf, and Ms. Uzma Qureshi from PDDC Baramulla, shared valuable insights on the root causes of drug addiction and effective intervention strategies. They urged students to remain vigilant and actively spread awareness within their communities.
