Kupwara Police Conducts Training Module on Investigation of NDPS Cases

Kupwara, January 14: In an effort to enhance the investigation capabilities of police personnel, Kupwara Police organized a specialized Training Module on NDPS Cases at the Conference Hall of District Police Office (DPO), Kupwara. The training was attended by 20 Investigation Officers from various Police Stations and Police Posts across the district. The primary focus of the module was to familiarize the officers with the practices and procedures essential for the effective investigation of NDPS cases, ensuring adherence to legal protocols and achieving higher conviction rates. The session was conducted by Senior Prosecuting Officer (SrPO) District Police Hqrs, Mr. Masroor Ahmad, who provided detailed insights into the critical aspects of NDPS case investigations, including evidence collection, documentation, and presentation in courts.Kupwara Police has been regularly organizing such training sessions to improve the standards of investigation and build expertise among its officers in dealing with specialized cases.Kupwara Police remains committed to combating the menace of drug abuse and ensuring justice through professional and meticulous investigations.
