SDM Karnah reviews arrangements for celebration of Republic Day

KUPWARA,JANUARY 7: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Zaffar Ahmad Lone today convened a meeting of all concerned officers at Meeting Hall Mini Secretrait Tangdar and reviewed the arrangements for celebration of the Republic Day 2025 in Karnah Sub Division. The SDM directed all the departments to ensure fool proof arrangements in place so that the National event of Republic Day is celebrated seamlessly in the sub division. He also emphasized the need for maintaining protocol in seating arrangement and also issued directions to the police department for taking proper protocol of the National Flag and security arrangements. Arrangements including Power supply, water, sanitation, seating arrangements were also discussed at large and the concerned departments were directed to ensure these arrangements at the venue well before the beginning of the celebration. Other arrangements including refreshment, deployment of magistrates, arrangement of cultural programmes, barricading, facility of commentators and availability of fire-tenders were also reviewed.The Meeting was attended by BDO, Tehsildar Karnah, BMO, JEE R&B and PHE Karnah, SHO TANGDAR and teetwal and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
