GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 20: As part of the ongoing Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore initiative under Good Governance Week 2024, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad today chaired a comprehensive meeting to assess the status of public grievance redressal on the JK-Samdhan and CPGRAMS portals.The meeting, held in the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, conducted a detailed review of the grievances registered on these portals and sought updates on the actions taken by concerned departments to address these issues.In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the ADC cross-verified the actions with complainants who were present at the meeting.The ADC directed all departmental representatives to prioritize the prompt and satisfactory resolution of grievances within a stipulated time frame. He emphasized that public satisfaction must remain the core focus of grievance redressal mechanisms.Highlighting the significance of the Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore campaign, the ADC stated that this national initiative is designed to enhance governance at the grassroots level by improving service delivery and effectively addressing public grievances.“Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore campaign is not just a slogan but a transformative step towards bringing governance closer to the rural populace,” he remarked.He urged all departments to redouble their efforts in ensuring efficient grievance redressal and service delivery, thereby contributing to the larger vision of good governance.The ADC reiterated the administration’s commitment to creating a responsive governance system that meets the expectations of the public, particularly those in rural areas.The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, ensuring a coordinated approach to grievance resolution.
