He reiterated the zero-tolerance policy and announced future plans to strengthen traffic management in rural areas by introducing ITMS (Integrated Traffic Management Systems), which will include CCTV cameras, speed detection systems, and automated monitoring.

In addition, SSP Singh urged drivers to prioritize safety by avoiding overspeeding, rash driving, overloading, and wrong parking, all of which pose significant risks to public safety.

He also stressed the importance of community cooperation in achieving safer roads. “We need the public to understand that following traffic rules is not just about avoiding penalties—it’s about protecting lives. Together, we can make our roads safer for everyone,” he added.

He concluded by warning violators, “Traffic rules are meant to save lives, not to inconvenience anyone. Those found flouting these rules will face strict action without any leniency.”(TKD)
