22-year-old youth dies after Chinar tree branch falls on him in Ganderbal

Srinagar ;A tragic incident occurred in the Patti Rampora area of Ganderbal district, central Kashmir, where a 22-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a falling branch of a chinar tree.

The victim, identified as Umar Ganai from Safapora, was passing through the area when workers were in the process of cutting the tree.

According to officials, a branch unexpectedly fell on Umar, causing severe injuries.

He was promptly rushed to the district hospital in Ganderbal, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
