
Srinagar, June 22: On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, the 226 Field Regiment celebrated the event with full spirit and joy at Kaman (Aman Setu), a fascinating and symbolic landmark located in Uri. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of yoga and mental well-being.
The celebration saw massive participation from approximately 60 army personnel and locals of Uri, who enthusiastically performed various yoga asanas and breathing techniques. The session was expertly conducted by Mrs. Rajshree Tupe from the Shriyog Institute, Pune, who guided the participants through the exercises.
The event was a resounding success, with participants appreciating the opportunity to learn about yoga and its benefits. The army’s efforts to promote yoga and mental well-being were commended by all, marking a memorable celebration of International Yoga Day.
