Baramulla, 25 July– The Indian Army, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), renowned as Jaipur Foot, has successfully executed an Artificial Limb Fitment Camp under Operation Sadbhavna in Baramulla. This initiative aimed to enhance the mobility and quality of life for the local residents of Baramulla district.
The camp provided artificial limb fitments to 104 individuals, facilitated by a team of specialist doctors and medical professionals ensuring personalized care and precision. Each recipient underwent comprehensive medical check-ups to confirm the suitability of the fitments and to provide any necessary additional medical guidance.
Operation Sadbhavna, an Indian Army initiative, focuses on fostering goodwill and enhancing the quality of life for the local populace through such humanitarian projects. The collaboration with BMVSS brought in the required expertise and experience in prosthetics and rehabilitation, ensuring the success of this camp.
This camp underscores dedication of Indian Army to the welfare of the local community. The partnership with BMVSS has enabled to deliver critical services to the people of Baramulla, reinforcing the bond between the army and civilians.
