Baramulla, July 5(TKD):The momentum of Varmul Gindo 2025 shows no signs of slowing down as Baramulla continues to buzz with competitive energy and enthusiastic participation. The district’s sporting pulse beat stronger on Friday with intense matches across kabaddi, snooker, and football.
The Indoor Stadium Khawaja Bagh was the center of kabaddi action, hosting nine nail-biting matches. A total of 90 players showcased their strength and strategy before a crowd of over 150 spectators. Organizers reported fierce competition as the final results are being compiled.
Meanwhile, the B Town Club turned into a battleground for cue sports, where the snooker competition saw skilled performances by Nayeem, Azam, and Mohsin, each securing convincing victories. The matches captivated an audience of around 180 people who witnessed the tactical brilliance on display.
Adding to the excitement, the GDC Ground prepared for a much-awaited football clash between Hyder FC and Hamdania JR FC. With 126 footballers participating and a massive crowd of more than 460 attendees, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and team spirit.
The day’s events once again reinforced Baramulla’s growing passion for sports and the unifying spirit fostered by Varmul Gindo 2025.(TKD)
