
Baramulla, Dec 21(TKD) – In a heartwarming gesture, the Indian Army celebrated International Pheran Day by distributing traditional Kashmiri Pherans to underprivileged families in remote villages of the Kashmir Valley. As the harsh winter season, Chillai Kalan, sets in, these warm garments will provide much-needed relief to those in need.The initiative, which took place across the valley, aimed to extend the spirit of Pheran Day beyond the urban celebrations in Srinagar.
