New Delhi, June 23: In a dramatic turn of events during the inaugural session of the 2024 Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, along with other leaders from the INDIA bloc, led a passionate protest against the appointment of Bhartruhari Mahtab as the pro-tem speaker. Holding copies of the Constitution, Gandhi vehemently criticized the ruling BJP for what he described as neglect of the INDIA alliance and the Dalit community.The protest, which unfolded within the Parliament premises in New Delhi, saw Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge join Rahul Gandhi in a display of solidarity.
