Jammu Gets Its Own Railway Division: CM Omar Abdullah Lauds PM Modi and Railway Minister

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed his congratulations to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on a historic occasion as the region achieved its long-awaited wish of having its own railway division. Speaking on the momentous day, the CM acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in making this milestone possible.

“Today, on this momentous occasion, as the long-awaited wish of Jammu and Kashmir is being fulfilled, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I also express my gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, as, as the Honourable MP has mentioned, Jammu has received its own division,” said Abdullah during his address.

The establishment of Jammu’s railway division is expected to bolster connectivity, enhance regional development, and provide a significant boost to trade and tourism in the region. The announcement has been met with widespread appreciation from both residents and political leaders across the state.
