
Anantnag, Dec 2 (TKD) – In a significant move against terror activities, the Anantnag Police have attached property worth ₹5 crore under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The action was taken as part of Case FIR No. 57/2024, underscoring the authorities’ commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
The property, a double-storied house located in the Srigufwara area of Anantnag district, has been linked to subversive activities. The police stated that the attachment of the property sends a strong message of zero tolerance toward any involvement in terrorism or support for terror networks.
The move comes as part of the ongoing efforts to curb terror financing and dismantle infrastructure supporting unlawful activities. Law enforcement agencies continue to strengthen their actions under the UAPA to disrupt the ecosystem enabling terrorism.
