Youth Killed, Brother Injured in Road Accident in Punjab

Srinagar, Nov 20(TKD): A tragic road accident in the Damtal area of Punjab claimed the life of a youth and left his brother critically injured late last night.

Officials reported that the incident occurred around 10 PM when a vehicle struck the two brothers, causing severe injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, one of them, identified as Sharafat Ahmad Khan, was declared brought dead on arrival. His brother, Rifakat Ahmad Khan, is currently undergoing treatment.

Both victims are residents of Brariangan Shangus, Anantnag.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
