Tribal Community in Kashmir Celebrates Landmark Waqf Amendment Bill

Srinagar, April 4 (TKD)– In a momentous event, tribal communities from remote areas of Kashmir gathered at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Head Office in Srinagar to celebrate the passage of the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament. The celebration, led by Choudhary Roshan Hussain, State President of BJP ST Morcha, marked a significant step towards securing land rights for the tribal population.

The Waqf Amendment Bill, which aims to enhance the management of Waqf properties, includes key provisions under Sections 5 and 6 that grant special land rights to tribal communities.
