Indian Army Organizes Medical Camp in Anderwan Village, Ganderbal, Kashmir

Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir – March 17, 2025

In a continued effort to provide essential healthcare services to remote regions, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive medical camp.

The purpose of the camp was

-To provide accessible and free healthcare services to communities with limited access.
-To conduct health screenings,check ups and basic treatments
-To raise health awareness and promote preventive care.
-To identify and refer individuals requiring specialized medical attention

Highlights of the Medical Camp:

Healthcare Services: A dedicated team of Army medical officers and paramedics offered free consultations, diagnostics, and treatments to over 320(male-108,Female-103,children-109)villagers, addressing ailments such as respiratory infections, hypertension, DM and other diseases

Medicinal Support: Essential medicines and health kits were distributed to attendees at no cost.

The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
