Blasphemous Remarks Against Holy Prophet ﷺ: Muslims in Rajouri & Doda Protest over Yati Narsinghanand

Jammu,5 Oct (KB): Blasphemous remarks by Yati Narsinghanand sparked protests in Rajoura and Doda areas of Jammu on saturday, reports said.

Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Bulletin said, that different muslim organisations on Saturday took out a massive protest in J&K’s Rajouri, denouncing the Hindutva militant leader Swami Yati Narsinghanand’s remarks on the holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Reports said, that, protesters demanded immediate arrest and a stern action against the culprit.

Protesters gathered in Rajouri’s main town to express their outrage over Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati’s recent remarks, which have hurt Muslims globally.

The protesters handed a written memorandum to Additional DC Rajouri and Additional SP Rajouri, who assured them that their demands would be forwarded to higher authorities.

The protesters emphasized that Narsinghanand’s comments have the potential to disrupt communal harmony in the country, and criticized the government for not taking action against him.

Similar protests erupted in Doda, with massive rally demanding Narsinghanand’s arrest. This isn’t the first time Narsinghanand has made headlines for his inflammatory speeches. (KB)
