Anantnag Police Attach Property Worth ₹2 Crores Under NDPS Act in Srigufwara

Anantnag, Nov 27 (TKD): In a significant move against the menace of drug trafficking, Anantnag Police have attached property worth ₹2 crores under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in Srigufwara. The property, a residential house belonging to habitual offender Mohammad Amin Malik, has been seized as part of the ongoing crackdown on narcotics.

This decisive action underscores the district police’s commitment to dismantling drug networks and creating a drug-free society. By targeting the assets of habitual offenders, the authorities aim to disrupt the financial foundations of drug trafficking operations.

Speaking on the development, a senior police official stated, “The attachment of properties under the NDPS Act sends a strong message to those involved in the illegal drug trade. Anantnag Police will continue to take strict action against narcotics-related activities to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.”
