Srinagar Police Urges Public Help to Identify Hit-and-Run Suspect in Eidgah Incident

Srinagar, July 2 (TKD): Police has appealed to the general public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent hit-and-run incident near Firdous Colony, Eidgah.

According to officials, the accused was riding a scooty and was traveling from Soura towards Safakadal when the incident took place. A formal case has been registered at Police Station Safakadal under FIR No. 63 of 2025, invoking sections 281 and 125(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police have urged anyone with information about the individual or the vehicle involved to come forward. Citizens can contact the Police Control Room (PCR), and all tips will be kept strictly confidential.

Authorities emphasized that even small pieces of information can prove crucial in identifying the offender and ensuring justice.
