House of Prominent Political Activist in Kishtwar Catches Fire, Rescue Operation Launched

Srinagar, Apr 02 (KB): House of a prominent political activist Jaffar Ahmad Wani in Chatroo area in Kishtwar, has caught fire, an official said.

The official informed news agency Kashmir Bulletin that a massive fire has broken out from the house. “The flames continue to rage even as a rescue operation is underway to contain the spread of fire,” the official said.

“More fire tenders have been called in to the site,” he added.
