Terrorist Hideout Busted in Anantnag’s Sanglan Forest; Arms and Supplies Recovered

Anantnag, March 24: In a major counter-terrorism operation, security forces uncovered a terrorist hideout in the dense forests of Sanglan, Uttersoo, Anantnag. The operation was jointly conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG) Anantnag, 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

During the raid, forces recovered:
🔹 200 empty AK-47 cartridges
🔹 2 gas cylinders
🔹 1 Chinese grenade
🔹 1 Night Vision Device
🔹 Bedding and expired food packets

The discovery highlights ongoing attempts by militants to maintain operational bases in remote areas. Security officials reaffirmed their commitment to dismantling such networks and urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.

This successful operation is a significant blow to terror elements in the region, reinforcing the security forces’ relentless efforts in safeguarding peace and stability in Kashmir.
