19-Year-Old motorcyclist dies in collision with speeding vehicle in Bandipora

Bandipora, 6 Oct (KB): A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle in the S K Bala village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Sunday afternoon, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the youth was killed after his motorcycle, bearing registration number JK15B 4018, collided with a tipper vehicle, bearing registration number JK01K 7865, resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist in Bandipora’s S K Bala village.

He said the youth was later shifted to CHC Sumbal, where he was declared brought dead upon arrival.

He identified the deceased as Taser Ahmad Rather (19), son of Ghulam Mohideen Rather and a resident of S K Bala. An investigation in this regard has been taken up.—(KB)
