Budgam 13 Aug 24:- G M Shaheen state president of the Janata Dal (United), continues his extensive outreach program aimed at engaging with religious scholars, senior citizens, and youths throughout Jammu & Kashmir.

Recognizing the pivotal role of religious leaders in shaping community perspectives and fostering peace, Shaheen has been actively meeting with scholars from various religious backgrounds. These meetings aim to discuss and collaborate on strategies for the socio-economic development of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as to address pressing issues faced by the community.

Speaking on the initiative, Shaheen stated, “The role of religious scholars in guiding and mentoring the community is unparalleled. Their insights and support are crucial in our efforts to bring about positive change and development in Jammu and Kashmir. We are committed to working together to create a prosperous and harmonious society.”

In a media interaction, G.M. Shaheen asserted that the JDU is determined to form the next government in Jammu & Kashmir. He announced that the JDU will contest in all segments of the Jammu & Kashmir assemblies, demonstrating the party’s commitment to comprehensive representation across the region.

Shaheen emphasized the JDU’s dedication to addressing the plight of those who are currently detained. He stated, “Our first priority is to work for those who are behind bars, and the JDU will always strive to bring back those who are under detention.” This statement underscores the party’s focus on human rights and justice as key elements of its political agenda.
