Tragic Accident at Zojila: Two Dead, Three Injured by Shooting Stone

Ganderbal, June 16, 2024 – In a tragic incident near Zojila in the Ganderbal district, two people lost their lives, and three others were critically injured when their vehicle was struck by a shooting stone on Sunday.

The accident occurred at Paani Mata near Zojila, where an Alto vehicle was hit by falling debris. According to an official from the Kashmir Scroll news agency, the incident claimed the lives of a woman and a child on the spot. The three injured individuals were rushed to PHC Sonamarg and later referred to Srinagar for further medical treatment.

The Ganderbal police have launched an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited as authorities continue their efforts to understand the circumstances leading to this devastating event.
