Youth Attacked in Ganderbal, Sustains Head Injury

Ganderbal: An 18-year-old boy was injured after being attacked by a group of youth in Wussan, Ganderbal district.

The victim, identified as Arsalan Ah from Cherwan Kangan, was reportedly assaulted with an iron rod by a group of individuals from Bandaibagh Ganderbal, according to his family.

“He was struck on the right side of his head and was immediately taken to the hospital. His condition is currently stable,” the family said.

A police official confirmed the incident, stating, “We have taken cognizance of the matter. Strict action under relevant sections of law will be taken against those involved. Further investigation is underway.”

The incident has caused concern among local residents, with many calling for swift justice.
