Kathua Encounter: One Pak Militant Killed, Operation On

ADGP Jammu Personally Monitor

Jammu, September 29(GNS): An unidentified Militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in Billawar area of Kathua district on Sunday.

Officials told GNS that early morning today operation was resumed and during firefight one Pakistani militant was killed as well his body has been also retrieved.

The operation in the area is still underway, ADGP Jammu Anand Jain is personally monitoring the whole operation, they said.

Yesterday, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Billawar after a specific input was recieved by the security forces.

During intial exchange of fire with militants one Head Constable was killed while as DySP and an ASI were injured and their condition is stated to be stable.(GNS)
