29 Year-old driver electrocuted to death in Samba’s Ramgarh

Samba,23 Aug (KB):A 29-year-old driver died from an electric shock when the vehicle he was unloading came into contact with a live electricity wire in the Ramgarh area of Samba, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the driver lost his life after a truck bearing registration number JK22A-8185, which he was traveling in, came into contact with a live electricity wire.

This caused the vehicle to catch fire, resulting in the burning alive of the driver inside the truck in Ramgarh, Samba.

He added that the driver was later identified as Sartaj Ahmad Bhat son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat of Jablipora Bijbehara, Anantnag.

Further, police have initiated an enquiry.
