Kokernag Encounter day 3: Search operation resumes amid Addl reinforcement of forces to track down Militants

‘2 soldiers, civilian killed so far’

Srinagar,Aug 12 (KNC):Search operation has resumed in Ahlan forests of Kokernag area of Anantnag amid additional reinforcements of forces to track down the Militants on the third day on Monday, Official sources said.

Officials told news agency– Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that on Saturday an encounter broke out between Militants and security forces in forest area of Ahlan in Kokernag.

In the initial exchange of firing, two soldiers and a civilian were killed. -(KNC)“`
