Kulgam Truck Driver Killed, Two Others Injured After Truck Hits Divider in Gwalior, MP

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 9: : A tragic road accident early today claimed the life of a truck driver and left two others injured after the vehicle collided with a central divider on a highway in Gwalior district, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Wani, son of Bashir Ahmad Wani, and a resident of Oriel Kund in Kulgam. The fatal collision occurred when the truck, on its way through Madhya Pradesh, rammed into the road divider, with dense fog severely reducing visibility.

Two occupants of the truck were seriously hurt in the incident. They have been identified as Saleem Ahmad Wani, son of Nisar Ahmad Wani, resident of Kraloo Kund, and another from Shopian. Both injured men were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Cognizance of the incident has been already taken.

Meanwhile, A pall of gloom descended on Kund village in Kulgam district after news of the tragic death of truck driver Suhail Ahmad Wani reached his home. Family members, relatives, and neighbours gathered at the bereaved household to offer condolences, while the entire area was engulfed in grief and shock.
